A Day in the Life of Keigan

Well 2 1/2 months have passed since Keigan made her grand debut and we finally have a little routine down! She set this routine on her own and right now it works for us. With the holiday activities approaching, I'm sure her schedule will be changing. I will be doing most of my Christmas shopping this year online so that I don't have to take her out in the cold weather and around all of the crazy shoppers!!

6:00 am she wakes up for her first feeding for the day. Since she still sleeps in our room I think she hears Dave get up for work at this time and realizes she's hungry because on the weekends she wakes up around 7:00 (girl loves her sleep!). I change and feed her and she goes back to sleep until about 9:00, right in time for Kelly & Michael :)

After her 9:00 feed, we go to her room to play on her activity mat and I will read her all most of her books (I am o-b-s-e-s-s-e-d with children books, like I want to write my own children books one day!). She will do tummy time until she gets tired and cranky. She goes down for a nap around 10 until 11:30 and she's up for more milk :)

After lunch she sits in her bumbo and we listen to the entire Rockabye Baby Lullaby Renditions of Bon Jovi CD, it rocks!! She will eat around 1:30 and take another nap from 2-4ish. She eats again and then dad comes home from work. He plays with her while I cook dinner. She just lounges in her rock-n-play while we eat. She will take one more nap in the evenings from about 7-8.

We give her a bath around 9:00. I read her a couple bedtime books (my two favorites are below!) and feed her one more time. She usually is asleep by 9:45 and Dave and I are right behind her. It doesn't sound like much but I'm beat by the end of the day!
