Easter 2014

Our Easter weekend couldn't have had better weather! Keigan woke up Sunday to see the Easter bunny had stopped at our house and left a nice basket for her! She was thrilled!

After we ate our chocolate chip muffins for breakfast, we had to start getting ready for our day because it was filled with lots of family time!

My grandma always has Easter lunch around 1 so we headed there and got to spend time with my family! We had an Easter egg hunt just for Keigan, which she did surprisingly well with! My cousin, aka Keigan's BFF helped her out with the egg hunt!

After we left my grandma's, we headed to Dave's grandma's for dinner round #2. Keigan has two cousins around her age that she loves to play with and is the cutest thing ever!

We made our last stop at Dave's mom's for dinner round #3! At this point Keigan is totally exhausted from being outside and playing with minimal naps but she was a trooper and held in there until we went home for bath and bed! Dave's mom had an egg hunt for her there too! The girl is so loved and spoiled! But who couldn't love this sweet girl?!

20 Months

20 months of pure bliss!!!
& wouldya look at that, I posted on her 20 month birthday! That's a first.

I still can't get over how much I love this little girl more and more each day!
I love seeing her little personality shine through each day. She still isn't saying many words and will only say things when she wants to. She can say pap, hot, cheese (cheee), and oww when she gets a boo boo.

Her eating lately has been 100% terrible! If she eats anything it's goldfish, Cheerios, pizza, and sometimes grapes and strawberries. It's been a challenge most days to get her to eat something healthy. She lovesss her milk. I think she would drink it all day, every day if she could.

Keigan is such an outdoor girl! Some of it may be that we were stuck inside for what seemed like years during the long, cold winter we had but she doesn't want to be inside at all these days. When we go to bring her in, she will have a legit meltdown. Oh the joys we will be in for this summer ;)

Her sleep schedule has been the same since we put her in her crib at 7 months. She goes to sleep around 8:15 and sleeps until 6:45-7ish. Because she sleeps so well and is on such a good routine, it makes me nervous to do the switch to a toddler bed sometime this summer.

Another thing on my summer to-do list is to get this girl potty trained! I do think she's ready because she will now go and wait by her changing table when she needs changed.

The girl loves, I mean LOVES bathtime! & Dave and I love seeing her little naked butt run all around the house so I guess it could be a favorite for everyone ;)  She's obsessed with brushing her teeth! She will take anyone and everyone's toothbrush if it's out and start brushing her own. I really hope this love continues forever and ever and maybe one day she will become a dentist ;)

One little mommy update, I will be D.O.N.E. with school on May 7th!! That's 22 days peeps! I'm so proud of myself for going back and finishing my last year for my education degree because once I had Keigan, I didn't know if I could go back and juggle all of the work plus all of my other duties! But I did it and now only have 22 days left between me and graduation! Yay!

Here is a little photo overload of our 20 month old!

Happy Wednesday & I really hope to do this blogging thing again before her 21 month birthday ;)
