Life Lately

Keigan and I have been thoroughly enjoying our summer vacation with each other. We have been spending a lot of time at my mother in laws pool that's right down the street from us. She's becoming quite the little fish!

Every morning we take a walk with Sadie. Sometimes we walk our neighborhood, other times we hit up the park or the trail. Most of the time Keigan takes a snooze while Sadie and I get our exercise in.

We have been eating our fair share in Popsicles and fresh fruit. That's what summers for though, right?!

On rainy days, you can usually find us running errands, getting groceries and maybe even Wendy's for a frosty ;)

On Sundays we head to my parents house for the day to spend time with them and she always makes us dinner :)

& here she is on her bike. We can't go outside without getting on her bike and she won't get on her bike without her helmet. Let's hope she continues that as she gets older!

I'm trying to enjoy this last summer with just her. Next summer we will have two babies so it will be twice the fun!

21 Week Update

How far along: 21 Weeks

Gender: BOY!!

Weight gain: +5 lbs

Maternity clothes: I bought a few maternity tanks from Target but I’ve still been living in maxi skirts and dresses

Stretch marks: Nope

Belly button in or out: Flat as a pancake

Sleep: Ehh, some nights I sleep like a baby and other nights there is nothing I can do to get comfortable

Best moment this week: Buying our first round of baby boy clothes! Carters was having a pretty good sale so I had to snag up a few things!

Miss anything: A lunch meat sandwich?! I don’t usually eat lunch meat when I’m not pregnant but knowing I can’t have one is killing me.

Movement: Lots of squirming around in there & I love every single one of them!

Cravings: Any kind of snack-y food. Dips, chips, crackers, etc . Oh, & the chocolate Lucky Charms is amazing!!

Looking forward to: Fourth of July fun this weekend. I’m so curious to see how much (or how little) Keigan likes the fireworks!

Family Vacation {2014}

We got back yesterday from our family vacation to Virginia Beach. As sad as we were to leave our oceanfront house,  we were also excited to come home and back to our routine. Traveling and going to the beach with a toddler can be really exhausting but seeing her have fun playing in the sand and in the waves is all worth it!

Our weather for the week was perfect. The warm breeze and playing in the waves wore our little beach babe out. I never would have thought she would fall asleep on the beach but she proved me wrong. Every day she took a long nap under our canopy and woke up in the best mood!

There was one day it called for rain (but there wasn't a drop of rain) and we hit up the Virginia Aquarium. It was nice to get out of the sun for the day and do something different.

Our last night we went down to the pier for some family pictures. Getting pictures with a very squirmy toddler is more difficult than it looks. The girl hates pictures but we got a few good ones!

I am already looking forward to our vacation next year with a toddler AND the new baby!
